Becky Madrid
My Nahuatl name is XOLOCIHUATL: Planet Woman.
In 1979, I saw Prince on TV singing “I Wanna Be Your Lover.” I was hooked, and I have followed him ever since. His charisma was amazing and also very spiritual. I find his music like an out of body experience, and when I saw him in concert, it was one of the most unforgettable experiences in my life. I loved the way he evolved with his voice, guitar and piano.

I attended MesoAmerican Studies for 7 years and learned to understand the Nahuatl Language as well as how to read the glyphs and pictographs of the Aztec Calendar, which led me to study The Cosmic Readings. Based on the month, day, year and time of birth, we are able to give each individual their own personal reading, and give in detail what energies the person carries.
Upon doing and practicing readings, I decided to figure out Prince Rogers Nelson's reading and I was amazed at what I found. This inspired me to paint his energies, and I eventually plan to write a book to show and tell what Prince was all about.
The Old Wise Coyote. This is Prince's energy which determines what he was to return to the community. His job: HUEHUECOYOTL: The ability to bring out sexuality and sensuality in the young adult with dance, music, singing, poetry and agility.
The Left-Sided Hummingbird. The Hummingbird describes the Will, the Drive and The Determination to do something. The heart is on the left, so Prince did things with his heart in mind. The hummingbird will go forward, backwards and side ways to reach the nectar, and Prince had this ability to get what he wanted.
A third work in the series is upcoming: The Smoking Mirror, The Blindfold.
